Florist's gardens
Located in the Royal Laeken Domain, the Gardens of the Florist combine unusual plant species with easy access to the Heysel, the Atomium and surrounding museums.
The Gardens of the Florist are part of the Royal Laeken Domain and connect to Sobieski Park and Laeken Park. These gardens experiment with less common plant species. Striking features include the twisted trunks of the acacias and holly bushes that are more than a century old.
From the gardens, you walk via Ossegempark towards the Heysel. In that area are the Atomium, the Design Museum Brussels, Mini-Europa and the Planetarium. Brussels Expo also hosts regular exhibitions. A short distance away is also the Japanese Tower, one of Laeken's landmarks.
